Diamond was born to our lovely girl Lita ( Treeview Skylight). Her father is a Ninderry Snow Pea (Mac) from the kennels of our friends Dean and Mandy Murphy.

Diamon was called this name because she was born with a small diamond on her neck and this distinguished her from her siblings.

Diamond was one of six puppies born to Lita and until the age of 6 weeks showed now problems at all. During her six week check up, our great vet, Dr.Gail Lovell, detected a heart murmur. This anomaly was new to our kennels and further testing showed that Diamond had a heart blockage. Though fairly common in dogs generally, this was our first!!!

Diamond had to be kept fairly quiet and unstressed until corrective surgery and so she has had limited life's experiences to date. Her surgery went smoothly when she reached 7 months of age and we are thrilled to know that all the results were very positive.

Because of her limited experiences, Diamond has just strted to go to the beach, have a walk longer than 50 metres and go camping!! She still finds everything in life very daunting, but we are determined Diamond will come to enjoy life and be a happy girl.

Apart from her rocky start, Diamond is a very sweet girl. She loves playing with her friends and no spare lap is safe with her- a true lap-sitter!!!
